The cover is cancelled on 10 November 1919 with a nationalized Austrian cancel, i.e. the German “Brunn 1” has been removed. At first the cover appears to be a philatelic item. However it did travel from Brno to Basel, Switzerland as indicated by the arrival cancel on the back, Basel VIII, 13 November 1919. The total postage is 5.10 Crowns.
When I acquired this cover it included a note which explained the postage as follows: 50h for Registry, 60h for Express and 4.00 Crowns for 160 grams of weight. I would like to know if anyone can confirm this.
